Senior Engineering Construction Administrator

The TRO engineering department is a dynamic and skilled group, with a collective mission to provide outstanding engineering system designs within a creative and supportive atmosphere.  We are looking for a talented Senior Engineering Construction Administrator to contribute to the success of the department and to equally benefit from being part of the team.

Responsibilities include

  • Provides construction administration support on projects in collaboration with project leadership.
  • Informs to the progress and quality of the construction work, and determines that the work is being performed in a manner consistent with the contract documents.
  • Establishes a schedule and perform periodic visits to the project sites to review the progress and quality of the work and its compliance with the contract documents and provide written site reports for the project team.
  • Represents the firm in meetings during the construction phase and maintain an appropriate level of visibility with the owner and contractor.
  • Oversees the shop drawing and RFI processes, providing review and responses in coordination with appropriate project engineers on the project. 

Qualified candidates with a BS in an engineering related curriculum preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of construction administration experience with an engineering or A/E firm, serving as lead engineering Construction Administrator on projects.  Experience on healthcare facility related construction projects is a plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Aptitude in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam PDF Revu or Adobe equivalent strongly desired.
